Colin is originally from Duluth Minnesota, a small city on the shores of Lake Superior, but headed west for college to attend Montana State University in Bozeman. He fell in love with NE Wyoming as a college student on summer break when he took a job as a fishing guide on a local dude ranch and decided he would move back if ever got a chance. He holds a degree in Earth Science (Geography) as well as a second major in Spanish. Before coming to SCLT, he was the Environmental Planning Specialist with the BLM’s Montana State Office in Billings and then worked for the City of Buffalo for over two years as Assistant Planner and then City Planner before taking the lead at SCLT.
