Basic Level Avalanche Awareness
Sorry. This event is canceled because there is not enough snow.
Offered by the Bridger Teton Avalanche Center, this two-day workshop will equip you with the knowledge you need to more safely explore our beautiful Bighorns backyard in the winter – knowledge you can take anywhere your adventures take you.
Learn from experts on Friday night and practice those skills in the field on Saturday.
Basic Level Avalanche Awareness is a short workshop that provides a basic overview and discussion of how to: recognize red flags, identify avalanche terrain, travel safely, and to perform a rescue.
