Discovery Session: Bear Gulch Plant Walk

Calling all “Flower Finders” and “Plant Peepers” for a fun evening on the mountain where you’ll learn how to identify many of the plants that grow in our beautiful Bighorns backyard. Botanist Bob Giurgevich will guide us for a leisurely walk along the trail while providing us with identification tips and tantalizing tidbits about the plants we see.
When: Wednesday, July 17 @ 6 -7:30 pm
Where: Meet at Bear Gulch East Trailhead @ Red Grade Trails. If the parking lot is full, please park carefully along the side of the road.
What to bring: Comfortable shoes, clothes, and water. This walk will be about 1.75 to 2 miles long. It is easy to moderately difficult, with some stone steps along the trail.
