Nestled along the Tongue River, the former community of Monarch was important in Sheridan County’s coal mining boom. Join SCLT History Program Manager Kevin Knapp for a program about what remains of Monarch, and the research and preservation of historic Monarch Lutheran Cemetery and the recently removed historic Monarch Bridge.
