Unplug: Birds of the SCLT Big Goose Natural Area

Unplug: Birds of the SCLT Big Goose Natural Area

Bring on spring with Dr. Julie Rieder of Science Kids as we stroll pastures along Big Goose Creek, watching and listening for birds as they migrate north to their summer nesting grounds. Learn some beginning birding skills, and build your confidence to tell warblers from finches from chickadees. Springtime is a great time to watch birds, with few leaves on the trees and birds all dressed up in their stunning breeding plumage.

Dress for weather; bring binoculars if you have them. We will have some, too.

When: Thursday, May 22, from 5-6 p.m.
Where: Meet at SCLT Big Goose Natural Area (14 Lane Ln, Sheridan).

Unplug is free fun for ages 2 to 102, and is a collaboration between Science Kids and Sheridan Community Land Trust.
