Unplug: Birds of the SCLT Big Goose Natural Area
Creative Outdoor Education Programs for Families!
Bring on spring with Dr. Julie Rieder of Science Kids as we stroll pastures along Big Goose Creek, watching and listening for birds as they migrate north to their summer nesting grounds. Learn some beginning birding skills, and build your confidence to tell warblers from finches from chickadees. Springtime is a great time to watch birds, with few leaves on the trees and birds all dressed up in their stunning breeding plumage. This program will include walking on paved and mowed surfaces.
Wednesday, May 13, 5-6 pm, Meet @ SCLT Big Goose Natural Area (14 Lane Ln)
Unplug is a partnership between Science Kids and Sheridan Community Land Trust. All Unplug programs are FREE to attend, and fun for all kids ages 2 to 102!
