SCLT is excited to welcome Paul Lobdell and Lincoln Robbins to the team as this season’s conservation and recreation interns.
Paul will be a senior at Big Horn High School this fall, while Lincoln will be a senior at Sheridan High School.
The pair will help keep SCLT’s network of community trails in great shape, working on conservation and stewardship projects like invasive grass control and wildlife-friendly fence installation at the Big Goose Natural Area, assisting at volunteer days and events, and much more.
The Ram and Bronc both share a love of the outdoors, which they say helped steer them to a season with SCLT.
“I was really interested in the mission to keep our wilderness pristine and accessible for all people. This opportunity allows just that,” Lincoln said.
Paul is active in athletics and looks forward to helping Big Horn defend its state football championship this fall. Lincoln loves to hop on his bike, ride the trails, and play with his dogs.
In their free time, they both enjoy quality time with family and friends.
“I like to go camping with my family and be with my close friends,” Paul concluded.
Both internships were funded by a Wyoming Department of Workforce Services grant.
