Join the Antelope Butte Foundation and Sheridan Community Land Trust for Mountain Bike Discovery Night. This free, family-friendly community night will feature a tips and tricks clinic as part of the ride for people who are new to mountain biking or any rider who wishes to hone their mountain biking skills. There will also be a fun ride for intermediate-skilled and experienced riders.
Mountain Bike Discovery Nights are a great way to ride with and get to know people in your community who also enjoy riding bikes!
Mountain Bike Discovery Nights are scheduled for the following dates:
Wednesday, August 19 – Hidden Hoot Trail – Meet at Black Tooth Park
Wednesday, August 26 – Hidden Hoot Trail – Meet at Black Tooth Park
Wednesday, September 9 – Red Grade Trails – Meet at Base Trailhead Parking Lot
Wednesday, September 16 – Red Grade Trails – Meet at Base Trailhead Parking Lot
For all rides: Please meet at designated meet location at 5:45 p.m. Ride will start at 6 p.m. Helmets required. Rides will last about two hours.
Are you interested in sharing your passion for mountain biking with new riders? Share your passion and experience as a ride leader. These discovery rides are a great opportunity to help grow the community for an outdoor activity you love! Don’t know what to teach? No problem, you won’t be alone. All groups will have multiple ride leaders, and all beginner-group instructors will receive a list of tips and tricks you can cover with your group. All you need to bring is your passion and an eagerness to help people learn.
