Construction Plan for Springs Parking Area
Work continues on Red Grade Trails with parking lot reconstruction for the “Base” and “Springs” trailheads beginning in April.
The designs came together over the past 12 months and focused on enhancing safety and functionality for all recreationists using Red Grade Road to access public lands. This project will also create professional trailhead and trail signage for the existing trail segments. Reconstruction will be completed by July 1, 2016.
In addition, SCLT plans to hand-build one additional mile of trail on State Land by fall 2016. Let us know if you’d like to pick up a hand tool and help!
