We had so much fun in the sun at the Scott Bicentennial Park in Dayton for our September Unplug event. We love holding our events all across Sheridan County to encourage different audiences to join! This was our only after school event, held at 4:30pm on a Wednesday. Bud Stewart brought the Wyoming Game and Fish’s stream trailer and taught us about the importance of vegetation along rivers and streams. Kary from the Conservation District in Sheridan did a water quality experiment in the Tongue River that borders the park. Then Jason Martineau with the DEQ grabbed a net and caught a seven-year-old stone fly! He taught us all about aquatic entomology, and everyone wanted to stay all evening to catch bugs!
